ECAR study of undergraduate students and information technology, 2017

Posted on November 9th, 2017

In a companion report on student use of technology, the authors look at the same topics that are covered in ECAR’s Study of Faculty and Information Technology. The report has many findings, including that for the fourth year in a row, more students prefer a blended learning environment to a completely face-to-face or online environment. Among the conclusions of the report are that “in 2017, students see technology as integral, if not essential, to their academic success. They own it. They use it. They want more of it.”
