The Chronicle of Higher Education profiles the campus design plans of Cornell Tech, a new collaboration in New York City between Cornell University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Cornell Tech is currently building a new campus that will be dedicated to technological innovation, academic experimentation, and the kind of serial flexibility those two principles require. The goal of the design is “the chameleon campus, a space where interchangeability permeates everything.” Dan Huttenlocher, dean of Cornell Tech, further states that the goal is to create an environment where everything can be repurposed.”
