Cyberlearning Community Report: The state of cyberlearning and the future of learning with technology

Posted on November 9th, 2017

This report, from the Centre for Innovative Research in Cyberlearning, highlights examples of work that draws on innovations in learning science and computer science. Cyberlearning research is defined as “the study of how new technologies, informed by what we know about how people learn, can be used to advance learning in ways that were never possible.” The report describes cyberlearning projects such as community mapping, virtual peers and coaches, and remote scientific labs. It also looks at complementary advances in research methods, including multimodal analysis, learning analytics for assessment, and user- and community-centered design methods.
