In this keynote speech, danah boyd, a principal researcher at Microsoft Research, founder of Data & Society, and visiting professor at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program, looks at the topic of young people using social media. She explores “some of the darker sides of networked media engagement: media manipulation, strategic harassment, and youth radicalization” and discusses different kinds of interventions and solutions.
