Harvard Business School launching first courses on HBX online platform

Posted on March 15th, 2014

Harvard Business School will soon begin enrolment in the first set of courses to be offered on HBX, a new e-learning platform the school has developed. While HBX uses technologies that complement edX, it is a separate entity customized for the business school’s instructional approach. The first offering on the HBX platform will consist of three courses on business fundamentals–business analytics, economics for managers, and financial accounting–designed for students in non-business fields. These classes will initially be limited to upper-year students from colleges and universities in Massachusetts and will have a fee of US$1,500 per student for the program.
