The first courses on FutureLearn, a MOOC platform from the United Kingdom (UK) that formed just 10 months ago, launched earlier this month. The courses had their initial student enrolment capped at 10,000 as they and the platform are considered to be in beta. FutureLearn is a majority owned by the UK’s Open University.
