Principal Investigator:
Dr. Eduardo Jovel

This project seeks to implement a flipped classroom approach in Land, Food, and Community II (LFS 350) with the development of three video vignettes and a supporting open web based hub or portal. Some of the objectives of the project include producing modular resources that can be shared between on campus and online course sections on qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, community based experiential learning, and research ethics; redesigning the course to make effective use of these modules and enhance experiential and communication skills via an open platform for collaboration; and developing support resources for community based experiential learning with 30 existing partners.

The initial course transformation will be delivered in September 2013, and an expanded version of the course will be offered in September 2014.
