This project will oversee the transformation of two courses, Physical Growth and Motor Development (KIN 284) and Movement Experiences for Young Children (KIN 366). KIN 284, currently a traditional lecture-based classroom, will be transformed into a blended learning environment. Instructors will also develop and implement a virtual laboratory for KIN 284 via the use of an online, interactive course module for increasing student competence in the practical analysis of movement across a lifespan.

The application of this pilot project from KIN 284 will be extended to KIN 366. A course component of KIN 366 is to have students critically analyze the responses of KIN 284 students and provide peer feedback and suggestions to the responses. KIN 284 and 366 will be delivered in April 2014.
