Posted on July 23rd, 2014

Four universities in the UK are teaming up with the BBC to produce massive open online courses about World War I. The pilot project, part of the BBC’s World War One series of programming which marks the centenary of the start of the war, will pair short, three-week courses on the FutureLearn platform with multimedia content from the BBC’s archive. The courses include “Aviation Comes of Age” from the University of Birmingham and “Paris 1919: A New World Order?” frome the University of Glasgow.
