Course-size accreditation

Inside Higher Ed reports on “a growing clamor” in the United States that is calling for an accreditor to “oversee the quality of college-level learning that occurs outside of college.” Such an accreditor would specialize in non-institutional providers like StraighterLine and Udacity and could potentially approve individual courses rather than entire degrees.
